အတိတ္မွာတုန္းက လုပ္ '' သင္႕ '' တာကို မလုပ္ခဲ႕လို႕ အခုအခ်ိန္မွာေနာင္တရတဲ႕ အေနနဲ႕ ေၿပာရင္ I should do လုိ႕ မေၿပာရဘဲ I should have done လုိ႕ ေရးရတာကို ေၿပာခဲ႕ၿပီးပါၿပီ ။ ဥပမာ

You should have told me earlier.
မင္းငါ႕ကို ဒီထက္အရင္ ေၿပာခဲ႕သင္႕တယ္ ။ ( အခုေတာ႕ မၿဖစ္သင္႕တာၿဖစ္ကုန္ၿပီ )

They should have kept their promise.
သူတို႕ကတိကို တည္ခဲ႕သင္႕တယ္ ။ ( ကတိဖ်က္လုိ႕ ေဒါသနဲ႕ ေၿပာတဲ႕စကား )

I should not have drunk too much . ငါအလြန္အကၽြံမေသာက္ခဲ႕သင္႕ဘူး ။ ( အခုေတာ႕ ကၽြဲခိုးေပၚကုန္ပါေပါ႕လား )

အဲဒီလုိအသံုးတစ္ခု အခု ထပ္ေၿပာၿပပါရေစ ။

အတိတ္မွာ လုပ္'' ႏိုင္ '' ရက္နဲ႕ မလုပ္ခဲ႕ရင္ could + have + V3 ကို သံုးပါတယ္ ။ ဥပမာ

I could have helped him . သူ႕ကို ငါကူညီႏိုင္ခဲ႕သားဘဲ ( ဒါေပမယ္႕ မကူညီခဲ႕ဘူး )

I could have gone to Oxford University but I preferred Harvard.
ေအာက္စဖုိ႕ကို ငါသြားတက္ႏိုင္ခဲ႕သားဘဲ ။ ဒါေပမယ္႕ ဟာဗတ္ကို ပိုသေဘာက်တယ္ေလ ( ေနာက္ဘ၀မွ ဂလို ဟန္ပါပါနဲ႕ ေၿပာပစ္ဦးမယ္ )

She could have married him but she didn't want to.
သူမက သူ႕ကို လက္ထပ္ႏိုင္ခဲ႕သားဘဲ ။ ဒါေပမယ္႕ ယူမွမယူခ်င္တာကိုး ( ၿဖစ္ႏိုင္ရဲ႕သားနဲ႕ မလုပ္ခဲ႕တဲ႕ အဓိပၸါယ္ )

They could have bought a house here 20 years ago but chose not to.
သူတုိ႕ ဒီမွာ လြန္ခဲ႕တဲ႕အႏွစ္ ၂၀ ကတည္းက အိမ္၀ယ္လုိ႕ ရသားဘဲ ။ ဒါေပမယ္႕ မ၀ယ္ဖုိ႕ ေရြးခ်ယ္ဆံုးၿဖတ္ခဲ႕ၾကတယ္ ။ ( တတ္ႏိုင္ရက္နဲ႕ မလုပ္ခဲ႕ )


လုပ္ႏိုင္ရက္နဲ႕ မလုပ္ခဲ႕လုိ႕ အၿပစ္ေၿပာခ်င္တဲ႕အခါလည္း သံုးတယ္ ။

မင္းမပါဘဲ ငါ manage လုပ္ႏိုင္မွာမဟုတ္ဘူးကြာ ( မင္းကို ေက်းဇူးတင္တယ္ဆိုတဲ႕သေဘာ )

I couldn't have got the job. He was always going to appoint his nephew.
ငါအလုပ္မရႏိုင္ပါဘူးကြာ ။ သူက သူတူကို ခန္႕ဖုိ႕ လုပ္ၿပီးသား။

ၿဖစ္ႏိုင္တာကို ခန္႕မွန္းၿပီး ေၿပာရာမွာလည္းသံုးတယ္ ။

ေမရီက ဒီထက္ေစာတဲ႕ ရထားကို စီးရင္လည္း စီးလာႏိုင္တာဘဲ ။ ( ေမရီရထားေပၚ ေရာက္ေနခ်ိန္ ေမ်ွာ္ေနသူေတြက ခန္႕မွန္းေၿပာတဲ႕စကား )

Mg Mg could have told her.
ေမာင္ေမာင္က သူမကို ေၿပာရင္ ေၿပာလုိက္မွာေနာ္ ( ခုေလာက္ဆို သူမသိေနေလာက္ၿပီ )

She could have overheard what I said.
ငါ ေၿပာတာကို သူမ မေတာ္တဆ ၾကားသြားႏိုင္ေလာက္တယ္.....( တိန္ )
